Pop-Up Play Returns To Radcliffe!
Do your kids love to get creative, but you’re not as keen on the mess that comes with it?
Then why not bring them along to the Pop-Up Play Shop when it returns for two wonderful days of play! Let the kids explore their creative side, without the messy house to go with it!
Suzanna Law, and charity co-founder Morgan Leichter-Saxby, have been running Pop-Up Adventure Playgrounds for almost 10 years, after coming up with the idea while studying at Leeds Beckett University. Since then, the pair have set up over 400 play events spanning across 30 different countries! Despite all this success, nothing could be better than returning to your hometown, to work in collaboration with The Met as their first supported artist. Suzanna is thrilled to be supporting the Pop-Up Play Shop in Radcliffe, helping her own community access open-ended play opportunities.
The Pop-Up Play Shop is a type of Pop-Up Adventure Playground and supports creative sessions where youngsters can let their imaginations run wild, making use of the repurposed materials to hand, in a safe and friendly environment.
The next two Pop-Up Play sessions are to take place over the Christmas holidays, the first being on Monday 23rd December, followed by the second session on Saturday 4th January 2020. The sessions are, as always, free of charge so bring the youngsters for some free, creative fun! Full details of the events can be found HERE.
The Met and Suzanna will continue to work together into 2020…. so watch this space!
