Save Bury’s Greenbelt Protest Walk

Join the protest walk this weekend to show your support against the proposed loss of Bury’s greenbelt.

The walk starts at Elton High School at 1pm and will end at Elton Sailing Club. The Sailing Club will be open for refreshments after the walk, and some of the team will be staying for an hour to help anyone fill in their consultation/objection.

The walk is open to horse riders, dog walkers, land lovers, families… all welcome!

Let’s help turn Bury green for the day!

Learn To Ride

Ideal for anyone wanting to learn how to ride a bike, or if it’s been a while since you did.

Learn to Ride courses are led by qualified instructors who teach basic cycling.

The course covers:

– Things you should check before each ride.

– Getting on your bike, balancing, and getting off safely.

– Starting and stopping.

– Steering and emergency stopping safely.

Bikes and helmets will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Suitable for ages 12+.
