After a failed attempt to recover a stolen baby panda, police dog Max reluctantly teams up with a human FBI agent named Frank. A hot tip leads Max and Frank to Las Vegas for the world’s most exclusive dog show.  In order to find the panda, Max goes under cover as a contestant to get the lowdown from his fellow canines.

Summer Small Furries & Wildlife Workshops

Looking for something fun, furry and free to do with the kids during the holidays?

Book a place on the My Pet Pals Summer Workshops at Pets at Home.  Kids receive an activity booklet, stickers and a poster for FREE plus they will learn how rewarding pets can be and how to care for them.

Bury FC Community Fun Day & Open Training Session

Bury FC are holding a Community Fun Day where fans can enjoy a variety of different activities including funfair, games, inflatables, fire engines, stalls supporting Bury Hospice.  The first team will also be holding an open training session and they will make themselves available in the Social Club and Club Shop for autographs and photos.

Bee In The City

A colony of giant bee sculptures is making its way to Manchester this summer!

Over 100 bees are waiting to be discovered on this free, family fun trail.  Each bee has been designed by a different artist and celebrates the unique buzz of Manchester.

Moments In Time

Art exhibition to commemorate 50 years of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.  The art, by Siobhan Lewis, captures the different aspects of life as a fusilier.

Summer Holiday Crafts

As part of the Warth Mill Project, The Fusilier Museum will be making collages inspired by the artist Kurt Schwitters, who spent time at the camp during the Second World War.

Come along to this Emergency Services Open Day where visitors will be able to see a wide range of vehicles, appliances and equipment from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS), Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).

The Hive

Come along to The Lowry Outlet to take a look at the bee-utiful garden.  Find your way through the honeycomb maze filled with birds, bees and butterflies whilst listening to enchanting tales.

Learn about the environment whilst having fun making your own Bug Hotel to take home to entice bugs, bees and creepy crawlies into your garden.

Fairy Bricks will be at The Hive selling LEGO bees for £5 each.  Fairy Bricks are a children’s charity that donates LEGO sets to children in hospital.

Power Up

Get your game face on and play some of the most popular video games from the past 40 years, from Pong and Pacman to Minecraft and Mario.  Over 160 consoles on offer.  These sessions are available to everyone at 90 minute sessions, half day sessions and evening sessions (adults only).

The School of Rock

The Rock, along with Tower FM, will be entertaining families every Saturday in August with fun and free educational activities.  There will be the chance to walk among dinosaurs, meet Titan the Robot, dig for fossils and win prizes.

Make and decorate your own children’s toy called a Thaumatrope. The popular toy in Victorian times is a disk with a picture on each side and two pieces of string attached to it which when twirled quickly between the fingers the two pictures look like they blend into one.

Duck Duck Goose

A goose named Peng neglects his flock and when he attempts to do a dangerous stunt at exceptional speed, Peng flies too low to the ground, hitting some ducklings and separating them from their flock.

Peng is left stranded with two ducklings and he is forced to take care of them and lead them back to their flock.
