Madagascar The Musical

This much-loved story has been brought to the stage in a recreation of the wonderful Dreamworks animation.

Matt Terry (X-Factor 2016 Winner) gives an amazing performance as Alex the Lion, even pulling off a great American accent.  The show also features show favourites Marty, Gloria and Melman.

As Marty goes in search of his dream of living in ‘the wild’, his fellow residents of New York’s Central Park Zoo try to find him.  Their journey doesn’t go to plan, or live up to expectations, and their antics, humour and character portrayals are absolutely hilarious.

King Julian was most definitely the star of the show and had the whole audience roaring with laughter.  Everyone in the Theatre was enticed to ‘move it, move it’ and his ‘flossing’ moves were absolutely hilarious!

The set is very well done with New York skyline backdrops and crates aboard the boat.  This is one very well planned show, with every tiny detail thought of.

It truly is a fun-filled night full of laughs for ALL the kids in the family… big or small!
