Bolton Winter Festival has returned, and will be in the town centre until 6th January 2019.
The Festival includes: –
- Ice Rink
- Festival Teepees
- Santa’s Grotto
The ice rink is open to all ages and abilities. It is under cover so no need to worry about the weather. There are different sessions to suit different needs: –
The ice rink can hold up to 180 people per session. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Penguin Club (Parent & Child Sessions)
There is a limit of 120 people with a maximum of 2 children per adult.
Sessions are available to schools, where there is a limit of 40 skaters plus a maximum of five school teachers.
From Monday 10th to Friday 14th December and Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th December you can get extra long skating sessions of an hour and a half for even less.
Ice Skating Aids are available for £2 per session.

It is recommended to check availability in advance, as some sessions may be reserved for block bookings, and to pre-book your skating tickets.

The Teepees return to keep you warm from the cold, or thaw out after the ice skating!
Grab a mulled wine, a bite to eat and sit back and relax while you watch the local entertainment on the live music stage.
There will be a bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks, and a coffee and deli bar offering a selection of hot drinks and sweet treats.
Santa has a new Grotto this year in the heart of The Albert Halls.
Follow the magical trail to Santa’s door, meeting his elves along the way, before finally meeting the big man himself.
