A Bird In Hand Theatre

A Bird In Hand Theatre will be offering a sweet and gentle alternative piece of puppet theatre called ‘Special Delivery’, which is a show without words that appeals to both adults and children, blending beautiful puppetry with a good dollop of silliness.

New – Forest School Holiday Club

New – Forest School Holiday Club in Radcliffe

Kids adVentures specialise in outdoor education and have recently opened their second Forest School in Radcliffe.  Open to 4-12 year olds in school holidays and as a dedicated pre-school in term time, this is a modern way of learning, utilising nature and the outdoors as an inspirational classroom.

Here a fully qualified childcare team, headed by a Forest School leader, run a variety of outdoor activities from den making, and mini beast hunts to nature crafts and animal habitats.

The Forest School meets at the Kids adVentures Radcliffe Nursery on Sandford Street, where they walk 5 minutes to the full enclosed Forest School site.

The Forest School site has shelter and full facilities meaning that the children can enjoy the site all day long.

Rachel Doyle, Nursery Manager at Kids adVentures says: “The children love being outdoors, being in the open space really inspires the children to use their imagination to learn and play.  The children naturally build communication and teamwork skills from doing activities like den making and they increase their confidence in general from trying new things.”

At the end of the day the group heads back to the nursery base where parents can pick up from 4.30pm onwards.
