In The Night Garden Live – Review

The BAFTA Award-Winning CBeebies children’s TV show, In the Night Garden, is currently playing at The Palace Theatre!

In the Night Garden Live is the perfect musical theatre experience for the entire family. The show’s favourite characters – Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends – are all brought to life in a wonderful new story using full-size costumes and magical puppets, with enchanting music and dancing.

The Show

Join Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends in the magical world of In the Night Garden.  This enchanting journey magically brings each of these well-loved characters to life as they sing and dance their way to discover the source of a mysterious sound.

Makka Pakka is on hand to clean Igglepiggle’s face, with magical bubbles flowing as he does so.  Fresh-faced Igglepiggle then sets off on his mission to find out where the sound is coming from.  Upsy Daisy also hears the sound whilst she is singing and dancing, and she joins Igglepiggle on the adventure.

Along the journey, we see the Pontipines come to life with their excited chatter, the The Ninky Nonk takes to the stage, and the Pinky Ponk is by far the star of the show as it takes flight out into the air above the audience resulting in gasps and cheers from the adults and kids below!

The adventure sees the friends travelling across fields and bridges, before finally leading them to the Tombliboos who are playing drums. Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy are pleased to have found their friends by following the sound.
